Motor vehicle collision leads to road closure in Surrey (Friday update)

ON Tuesday, July 1 at approximately 4:10 p.m., Surrey Police Service attended the area of 120 Street and 97 Avenue regarding reports of a motor vehicle collision. 

SPS officers, Surrey Fire Service and BCEHS attended the scene. One person was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition and two people were transported to hospital with minor injuries and subsequently released. One person remains in hospital in life-threatening condition.

SPS Road Safety Section Collision Investigation Unit members attended the scene and have taken conduct of the investigation. The Lower Mainland District Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) attended the scene and assisted SPS with gathering evidence.
