ON Thursday, August 7 at approximately 5:46 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a multi-vehicle collision located near the 24700-block of Highway 1 in Langley.

Langley RCMP and the BC Highway Patrol units are currently on the scene investigating this incident.

“The westbound lanes of Highway 1 are closed, and traffic is being redirected at the 264 Street exit,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “The Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been called to the scene to assist with this investigation. The closure of this portion of Highway 1 may last several hours and motorists are being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.”
