  1. Here is a peice of news from years ago. It says, “DEVELOPER Tony Harris displays the artist’s rendering of penthouse-style units slated for construction in the Departure Bay neighbourhood. Harris said he wants to re-create positive childhood memories he experienced during family outings.”

We DON’T want to get another politician from the real estate cartel (aka the BC Liberals, see the news link below) elected because we had suffered enough from the housing crisis in the Lower Mainland.

Mind you, the foreign buyers are on their way to the Island and they will snap up everything in their sight. If the BC Liberals make a come back, then pretty soon islanders will feel the pain that we have in the Lower Mainland right now after 16 years of housing market craze.

So please spread this message as widely as you can and make sure renters and young voters in Nanaimo do come out and vote on Jan 30.
