IT required a low tide for the largest cruise ship to dock in Vancouver to slip under the Lions Gate Bridge just before 4 a.m. on Sunday.
The 1,094-foot cruise ship can carry nearly 6,000 passengers and crew. It has a slew of restaurants and bars and the cruise ship’s website boasts: “With so many bars and lounges to discover, finding your favourite may take a few days.”
It has a mini-golf course (“Play 5 holes on our mini golf course with obstacles for all skill levels,” says its website), a go-kart track (“Zoom around hairpin turns as you race for the checkered flag on the largest race track at sea’) a laser tag (“Get ready for a laser tag battle of galactic proportions under the stars”) and a raft of other amenities.
