I am saddened to announce the passing of my mother Surinder Kaur Chandi. She passed away peacefully after a bravely fought battle with cancer on June 1, 2018, in San Jose. There is a commemoration kirtan for her on Saturday, August 18 from 5:30 p.m. onwards at the No. 5 Gurudwara in Richmond, followed by langar.  She is survived by her husband Jagdish Singh Chandi and family.
