One of two men shot at Richmond restaurant dead

THE Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) announced on Saturday morning that one of the two men shot last evening at Manzo Itamae Japanese Restaurant on Capstan Way and Garden City in Richmond had died of his injuries. It said the victim was believed to have been targeted.

There were several bullet holes in the windows of the restaurant.

Just after 7:30 p.m. on Friday (September 18), Richmond RCMP responded to the shooting. Two victims with injuries were rushed to hospital.

Vancouver Sun reported that the person killed was alleged money launderer Jian Jun Zhu, The person who was wounded is reportedly his associate Paul King Jin. Zhu was allegedly a target in the province’s biggest money laundering investigation.
