ONTARIO: Brampton homicide suspect Nicholas Jaglal in police custody (update)

UPDATE:

 “Homicide Suspect, Nicholas Jaglal has been arrested and is now in our custody,” Peel Regional Police have posted on X.

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police detectives from the Homicide Bureau have identified the suspect wanted in connection with a homicide in Brampton, Nicholas Jaglal.

On Saturday, November 22 at approximately 3:15 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a residence on Clearjoy Street in Brampton. Officers located the victim, a man in his 50’s suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the best efforts of first responders, he was pronounced deceased.

The suspect has since been identified as the victim’s son, 25-year-old Nicholas Jaglal of Brampton, and is wanted for second-degree murder and attempted murder.

Nicholas Jaglal is described as South Asian, 5’3, thin build with black braided hair and tattoos on both arms. He was last seen wearing blue pyjama pants with a Christmas pattern, dark outer jacked with a blueish pink hoodie underneath and white bottom shoes. (see left photo).

He is to be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, members of the public are asked not to approach and to dial 9-1-1.
