ONTARIO: Peel Police seek South Asian suspect’s identity in violent sexual assault investigation (with video)

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the Special Victims Unit are seeking public assistance after obtaining video to identify a suspect believed to be responsible for two sexual assaults in the area of McLaughlin Road and Steeles Avenue in the City of Brampton.

These incidents occurred on Monday, September 2 at approximately 5:30 a.m. and Sunday, September 22 at approximately 1:30 a.m.

On Monday, September 2 at approximately 5:30 a.m., the victim, a 19-year-old woman was walking in the area of Steeles Avenue West and McLaughlin Boulevard in Brampton, when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area.

On Sunday, September 22 at approximately 1:30 a.m., the victim, a 19-year-old woman was walking in the area of McLaughlin Road and Ray Lawson Boulevard in Brampton, when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area.

The victims sustained minor physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a South Asian male in his late 20s to early 30’s, approximately 5’8-5’10 tall, with a medium build, dark short hair and a receding hairline.
