ONTARIO: Victim of Mississauga carjacking, Gurvinder Nath, dead

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police announced on Monday that the victim of a carjacking in the City of Mississauga, Gurvinder Nath, 24, of Brampton, has succumbed to his injuries.

On July 9 at 2:10 a.m., the victim, a food delivery driver, was working in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road in Mississauga. At the delivery address, the victim was confronted by unknown suspects who attempted to take his vehicle and a physical altercation occurred.

The unknown suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, leaving him at the side of the road with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a trauma center where he succumbed to his injuries on July 14.
