Pedestrian seriously injured in Delta hit-and-run

ON Sunday, January 26 at approximately 7 a.m., Delta Police responded to a pedestrian-involved collision at the intersection of 66 Avenue and Scott Road and located a seriously injured man. The vehicle and driver involved in the collision had left the scene.

The pedestrian is a 25-year-old Surrey man whose injuries are serious and extensive. The suspect vehicle is described as a black car, likely a sedan, that had been travelling southbound on Scott Road at the time of the collision.

Investigators are seeking information leading to the location of the vehicle and driver involved in this collision, or if you have dash camera video, CCTV, or witness evidence, you are requested to contact Delta Police at (604) 946-4411 and quote file number 2025-1521.

Scott Road will remain closed until analysts have completed processing the collision scene. The closure includes both northbound and southbound directions of Scott Road between Wade Road and 64 Avenue.

Investigators are appealing to the driver involved in this collision to contact the Delta Police Department.
