PEEL Regional Police Chief Jennifer Evans has announced the promotions of 12 officers to the rank of Staff / Detective Sergeant, with six additional names to remain on the list for future vacancies, 34 to the rank of Sergeant / Detective, with 10 additional names on the list for future vacancies.
Following an extensive selection and interview process, the promotions were endorsed on Friday by the Police Services Board and will become effective Sunday, April 16.
“The newly promoted officers possess the skills and experience needed to lead our organization now and into the future. I congratulate each one of them on this significant milestone in their careers,” said Evans.
