VANCOUVER Police are investigating a hit-and-run in East Vancouver, and are asking the driver and witnesses to come forward.
The 32-year-old victim was found by witnesses lying in the middle of the road on Nanaimo Street near East 29th Avenue on Tuesday, November 12 just after 7:30 p.m.
“We know there were several people that came to this man’s aid at the time of the incident,” says Constable Tania Visintin. “Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision. We also want to speak to the driver to determine what circumstances led up to the incident.”
The victim was taken to hospital for serious, life-altering injures. He remains in hospital receiving treatment.
