PORT Moody Police on Thursday arrested a youth riding this e-dirt bike. Officers observed him repeatedly riding in oncoming lanes of traffic on Ioco Road at high rates of speed and performing stunts.

“He unsuccessfully resisted arrest and now faces criminal charges in addition to the seizure of his bike,” police said on X.

Police added: “We understand there is growing frustration surrounding these illegal, uninsured dirt bikes. We continue to conduct enforcement & strongly urge parents of riders (as the riders are most often youth) to be aware of the legal consequences & safety risks associated.”
