RCMP Constable Robby Pawar charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm

THE BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) announced on Wednesday that a charge of dangerous driving causing bodily harm had been approved against RCMP BC Highway Patrol Constable Robby Pawar in connection with his involvement in a motor vehicle incident that is alleged to have occurred on December 3, 2021, in Delta.
An information charging Pawar was sworn on Wednesday and the first appearance on this matter is scheduled for August 2 in Surrey Provincial Court.
The charge was approved by an experienced Crown Counsel with no prior or current connection with the officer.
“As this matter is now before the court the BCPS will not be releasing additional information or commenting further at this time,” said Dan McLaughlin, BCPS Communications Counsel.
