Richmond RCMP seek public’s help to identify fraud suspect

ON November 14, 2018, Richmond RCMP attended a bank located in the 4900-block of No. 3 Road for a report of a fraudulent transaction. Throughout the course of their investigation, the RCMP have uncovered over $40,000 in fraudulent transactions from at least eight financial institutions in Richmond and Vancouver.

A suspect has been identified as:

  • White man
  •  65 years of age
  • Half bald
  • Medium build
  • Eye glasses
  • Trench coat, purple top, blue jeans, dark shoes

“We have exhausted all available investigative avenues in this case and are hoping that by releasing the images, someone in the community will be able to recognize the suspect,” says Cpl. Dennis Hwang. “If you recognize this man, please contact us. Your information may be able to link him to additional crimes that are not yet on our radar.”
