Richmond RCMP seeking video evidence following serious pedestrian-involved collision

RICHMOND RCMP are asking witnesses with video evidence to come forward after a woman was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Bridgeport Road and Sexsmith Road on Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:35 p.m. on November 14.  The driver of the white GMC Savana van involved in the collision remained at the scene and was cooperative with police.

The injured female pedestrian, a 57-year old Chinese national, received life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital at this time.

Richmond RCMP frontline investigators continue to investigate.
