Serious pedestrian-involved collision in Surrey

SURREY RCMP said on Wednesday that traffic in the area of 92 Avenue and King George Boulevard will be disrupted for several hours because of a serious pedestrian-involved collision.

On Wednesday at 7:20 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision that involved a pedestrian at the intersection of 92 Avenue and King George Boulevard. The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently being treated at a local hospital.

Investigators from the Surrey RCMP Criminal Collison Investigation Team (CCIT) are on scene conducting their investigation. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.

If you were in this area at the time of the collision and have dashcam footage, you are requested to contact Surrey RCMP. As well, if you were a witness to this incident and have not spoken to police, you are requested to call them.
