Shree Lakshmi Narayan Mandir vandalization: Surrey Police Service appeals for witnesses, information

IN the early morning hours of Saturday, April 19, Shree Lakshmi Narayan Mandir in Surrey was vandalized by multiple suspects. Surrey Police Service (SPS) investigators were called to the scene and have since launched an investigation into this incident.
At approximately 3 a.m. on April 19, suspects wearing face-coverings spray-painted multiple building pillars and a Mandir sign at Shree Lakshmi Narayan Mandir located in the 8300-block of 140 Street in Surrey. They were travelling in a white pickup truck believed to be a Dodge.
Investigators released five images of the suspects and the suspect vehicle on Friday, April 25 with an appeal for information and witnesses. Of particular interest is any dashcam footage from the area and roadways near the Mandir between 3 a.m. and 3:40 a.m., police said.

SPS investigators are collaborating with their Vancouver Police Department counterparts, who are investigating a similar criminal incident that occurred at Khalsa Diwan Society Gurdwara in Vancouver also on April 19.
