VANCOUVER Police say that a Facebook Marketplace robbery was foiled by slippery conditions in East Van on Saturday.

The suspect tried to flee after selling a fake iPhone for $1,200.

“The suspect hit some ice, gravity kicked in & he fell, causing the cash to spread out for the victim to retrieve,” Vancouver Police tweeted.
