Surrey assisting Nepal Cultural Society of BC’s fundraising efforts

THE City of Surrey announced Monday it is providing the Nepal Cultural Society of BC (NCSBC) much needed office space for their ongoing fundraising work. The NCSBC is a community organization of people of Nepali origin and friends of Nepal in BC.

Since the devastating earthquake in Nepal last month, the society had been searching for office space that would allow them to conduct their local fundraising activities to assist the ongoing international relief efforts. The City of Surrey said it is donating the use of temporary offices at the Old City Hall location with immediate effect for the next three months.
