THE 4th Annual Surrey Health Expo is taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 17 at Surrey City Hall. Attendees can take advantage of free admission for the entire family and there will be information / resources available for all age groups.
Since launching in 2018, the Surrey Health Expo continues to be the only mainstream tradeshow for Surrey residents that focuses on health, wellness, beauty and fitness. This initiative is important for the community because key industry businesses and local community non-profits / organizations come together under one roof. This event is instrumental in encouraging the community to be proactive about their health versus reactive.
As we all know, the City of Surrey is growing rapidly. According to a report in February 2022, Surrey’s population is 568,822 with approximately 1,000-plus new residents moving into the city every month. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people were already experiencing super busy lives with high stress levels which resulted in poor diet, lack of exercise, sleep deprivation, etc. These bad habits can eventually lead to serious medical conditions like obesity as well as emotional and mental disorders. During the pandemic and even after, all of these health issues have worsened drastically while shedding more light on the importance of managing mental health. This event is crucially important and beneficial for the community, now more than ever.
The Surrey Health Expo is an opportunity to bring the entire community together under one roof to further explore the world of health, wellness, beauty and fitness. There will also be a diverse group of vendors, advertisers, media sponsors and attendees. Good health is important for everyone regardless of age, gender and ethnicity. As the popular saying goes “Health is Wealth”.
What to expect: 50-plus vendors, industry experts on-site, free health testing, product demonstrations, free product sampling, free exercise/dance classes, free workshops, free beauty tips/demos, free massages, outdoor activities, play area for children, food & drink stalls and flea market on-site. Also have a chance to win tons of prize giveaways and pick up a free copy of the Surrey Health magazine.
