SURREY Police Chief Norm Lipinski, who according to one media report has until Thursday at 4 p.m. to resign or be kicked out without cause from his position, should REFUSE to resign.

He should let the Surrey Police Board to fire him without cause.

Then the Board will have to take the responsibility for EVERY shooting and EVERY homicide and EVERY case of extortion — and explain to Surrey-ites each time why they weren’t able to prevent that.

Making Lipinski a scapegoat after sabotaging the establishment of Surrey Police Service again and again is the REAL scandal.

There was a plethora of gang shootings and killings under Surrey RCMP — as readers of The VOICE have known for decades.

How can anyone be SO STUPID not to be aware of that!

So Lipinski, tell them to bring it on!
