SURREY Police Service (SPS) is investigating an arson that occurred in the Cedar Hills neighbourhood.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, three suspects parked a vehicle near 123 Street and 97 Avenue in Surrey. They then attended an address in the area of 122 Street and 97 Avenue.
The suspects were seen holding “jerry” cans and used an accelerant to set fire to a house. The suspects were seen fleeing the area in a dark grey SUV possibly a Dodge Durango (see stock photo) with dark wheels and a sunroof.
Surrey Fire Service attended the residence and extinguished the fire and members of SPS Frontline Investigative Support Team (FLIST) were engaged to assist in the investigation. None of the occupants of the home were injured as a result of the fire.
