SURREY RCMP are looking for a brown van and a black pick-up, one of them with a broken window, after a man well known to police was shot outside a house at 134A Street and 81st Avenue at about 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Police are asking witnesses to phone Surrey RCMP or anonymously to CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Police said neighbours heard a number of shots fired outside a residence following a loud argument. Police found a 30-year-old man who had been shot. He is in stable condition in hospital.

Police believe the shooting is targeted.
