Surrey road closure following serious collision (update: 184 Street is open now)

UPDATE (5:05 P.M.): 184 Street is fully reopened to all traffic following the investigation into the earlier collision.

 

SURREY RCMP on Thursday announced a road closure on 184 Street between 40 Avenue and 32 Avenue due to a serious collision.

On March 3 at 9:45 a.m., police responded to a report of a collision involving two vehicles in the 3900-block of 184 Street.  Two people were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Due to the serious nature of the collision 184 Street is closed in both directions between 40 Avenue and 32 Avenue while police investigate the cause of the collision. The investigation is in the early stages and it is unknown how long road closures will remain in effect.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage from the area at the time of the collision is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
