VANCOUVER Police announced on Thursday that they have arrested the man wanted in connection with the assault of a 19-year-old student last week.

Mohammed Majidpour was taken into custody late Thursday afternoon, after a member of the public recognized him from pictures released on Wednesday by VPD.

Majidpour has been taken to jail.
