RICHMOND RCMP responded to the 11000-block of No. 5 Road for two victims suffering from stab wounds in a local area business at approximately 10:56 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16.
Although frontline officers arrived on the scene almost immediately upon receiving the call, the suspect had already fled the area.
Through coordinated efforts with multiple police jurisdictions and integrated units throughout the Lower Mainland, the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident.
The suspect was arrested shortly after 12 p.m. near Highway 1 on the Clearbook Road exit in Abbotsford.
The two victims were transported by ambulance to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is believed to have an association to the business. There is no risk to the public, police said.
Richmond RCMP Serious Crime unit have conduct of the investigation.
Police said that as this investigation is actively unfolding, no further information will be released at this time.
