ON Sunday, November 5, Surrey RCMP responded to a residence in the 16100-block of 110 Avenue in Surrey.

Police found an adult male deceased. One person was arrested and later released. Surrey RCMP Serious Crime Unit now has conduct of the investigation.

The individuals were known to each other and this was an isolated incident. Police do not believe there is any risk to the greater public.

The Serious Crime Unit is working closely with the BC Coroners Service and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
