Targeted stabbing in Richmond

RICHMOND RCMP are investigating a stabbing which occurred over the weekend in the city’s downtown core. At approximately 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, Richmond RCMP frontline officers responded to a stabbing in the 6000-block of No 3 Road.

The victim was allegedly involved in an altercation with several suspects during which he was stabbed. The suspects fled the area in a dark coloured SUV before the arrival of police.

The victim was transported to a local area hospital with multiple stab wounds. The victim has since been released from hospital.

This incident is believed to be targeted. Richmond RCMP Serious Crime Unit have conduct of the investigation.
