Third suspect in homicide of Ontario businessman Harjeet Dhadda arrested in B.C.

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau investigators have arrested a third individual in British Columbia (B.C.) in connection with a recent homicide in Mississauga.

On May 14, at approximately 11:49 a.m., 51-year-old businessman Harjeet Dhadda of Brampton was shot multiple times in a parking lot near Tranmere Drive and Telford Way. The suspects fled in a stolen 2018 black Dodge Challenger, which was recovered shortly after the incident. Dhadda later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

On July 15, with the assistance of the Delta Police and the RCMP, Peel Regional Police arrested 22-year-old Shaheel in Surrey, B.C. The accused resides in Delta, B.C. He was returned to Ontario and charged with first-degree murder.

This arrest follows the May 28 apprehension of Aman Aman and Digvijay Digvijay, both 21-year-old men from Delta, B.C., who were also charged with first-degree murder.
