Two in custody following stabbing in South Surrey

SURREY RCMP arrested two people on Tuesday morning following a fight involving a weapon in South Surrey. 

At approximately 8:50 a.m., on August 6, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a fight in the 900-block of 160th Street. Officers located a man suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was transported to hospital by air ambulance in serious, but stable condition.

Two suspects fled from the scene in a vehicle and then on foot. Both were apprehended by police in the Cloverdale area with assistance from the Integrated Police Dog Services and RCMP Air Services.

The investigation is in its early stages, however, initial indications are that this is a targeted incident.
