Two men in Brampton attacked by males with swords and bats; 12 men arrested

ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle that fled the scene of a large fight that occurred in the City of Brampton on Monday, December 14, at approximately 1:05 a.m. Police were called to the area of Ruth Avenue and Kennedy Road in relation to a large group of males that were fighting on the roadway.

Investigation revealed that two men were walking in the area and were assaulted by several other males who used swords and bats. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A black or dark coloured Jeep Wrangler with damage to the front windshield was seen fleeing the area, almost striking several people in the process. 

Soon after, police identified those involved and arrested and charged 12 men with the assault on both victims.  Investigators have been attempting to locate a black or dark coloured Jeep Wrangler with damage to the front windshield and are asking the public for their assistance.
