Two of 10 suspects in Vancouver’s Breakout Festival riot identified

VANCOUVER Police on Friday announced that two of the 10 suspects in the Breakout Festival riot at the PNE Amphitheatre whose photos were released on Tuesday have now been identified.

“Investigators are going through hundreds of tips and expect to identify further suspects soon,” Vancouver Police tweeted, adding: “If you are one of the suspects on this poster, now is the time to come forward.”

Vandals caused more than $300,000 damage to the PNE on September 18, after the last-minute cancellation of a headline act at the Breakout Festival. Dozens of concert-goers destroyed food kiosks, overturned tables, climbed light fixtures, and sparked fights throughout the PNE grounds and surrounding neighbourhoods.
