A two-vehicle collision in Surrey at the intersection of 142A and 64 Avenue knocked over a power pole, resulting in a power outage. The outage is affecting traffic lights at 142A and 64 Avenue as well as 144 and 64 Avenue. Residences and businesses in the area are also affected.

There were no significant injuries to either driver, Surrey RCMP said.

Traffic is being diverted and drivers travelling in the area can expect delays and should consider alternate routes.

BC Hydro is on scene and the repairs are anticipated to take several hours.
