THE Vancouver International Auto Show returns next week after a four-year hiatus, and the EV and PHEV Test Drive Experience presented by CleanBC Go Electric and RBC is expected to be the most popular feature at the event.
As part of the fresh and re-imagined ELEVATED consumer experience attendees will get the chance to get behind the wheel of some of the newest and highly sought after vehicles in the country.
The 2024 Toyota bZ4X and the 2024 GMC Hummer EV are two of more than 40 electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid EVs charged up and ready for showgoers to test drive. Show attendees will have the opportunity to climb aboard and participate in an Indoor-to-Outdoor test drive experience following a route around the Vancouver city centre.
CleanBC Go Electric representatives will be present to advise show goers about rebates available on the purchase the eco-friendly car of their choice. The CleanBC Program provides point-of-sale purchase incentives towards clean energy passenger vehicles for BC residents. Rebates range from $2,000 for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and up to $4,000 for battery and fuel-cell electric vehicles.
