ARSHPREET Chahal, 15, of Vancouver is 2015 Miss Teen Canada Petite Globe!
The grade 9 student at Vancouver’s John Oliver Secondary had been featured in The VOICE last December when she was a national finalist.
The pageant was held in Toronto from August 12 to 23 during which the 70 girls that took part had very busy days of boot camp, training, sightseeing, making appearances and dining out at places such as Canada’s Wonderland, The Eaton Centre and the restaurant Mandarine.
Arshpreet was crowned on August 22 at the Richmond Hill Centre of Performing Arts during the national finals.
Arshpreet says that she is a truly changed individual because of this pageant. She says that earning that title was not very easy; it required hard work and maximum effort. She is proud to represent Canada and be a member of the South Asian community.
According to her profile on the official website: “Her favourite subject is English. She plans on pursuing her dream of being a lawyer. Arshpreet absolutely loves animals; she has a little Maltese puppy named Chico. She plays sports of many kinds such as, basketball, soccer, and field hockey. She currently is a freelance model; modelling for local beauty artists and clothing designers. Her hobbies include, reading, writing, travelling, and hanging out with her friends.”
