THE Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken conduct of the July 5 Strawberry Hills shooting in Surrey after the victim succumbed to his injuries.

On Friday, July 5 at approximately 5:30 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a male suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot near the 7300-block of 122 Street. The male was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
