ON April 22, New Westminster Police learned that a video camera had been found inside the Upper Hume Park men’s changeroom. According to the caller, the camera was discovered under a bench inside the men’s changeroom. Officers searched the changerooms in Upper Hume Park. The camera was seized for processing.

This investigation is ongoing and police are encouraging the person responsible to turn themselves in to police.

“We understand how upsetting and disturbing this discovery is for park users,” said Sgt. Justine Thom on Monday. “Our team is reviewing evidence and working to find who is responsible.”
