Virtual Delta Townhall to debut at new time MP Qualtrough & MLA Kahlon

JOIN Delta Mayor George V. Harvie on Thursday, May 21 for Virtual Townhall No. 9, debuting at a new time slot – 2 p.m.

Special guests, Delta MP Carla Qualtrough and Delta North MLA Ravi Kahlon, will take part in Thursday’s Virtual Townhall with Mayor George Harvie. This is an opportunity for the community to engage with and hear directly from three levels of government representing Delta.

Harvie said: “I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with the community about their COVID-19 concerns through the Virtual Townhalls. These meetings are important in understanding local concerns, discussing Delta’s efforts, and helping facilitate Delta’s response and recovery. We are fortunate to have a high level of engagement and participation during these online community meetings and I am particularly looking forward to this Thursday’s townhall with Minister Qualtrough and MLA Kahlon.”

Harvie launched his Virtual Townhall series in March 2020 with Delta Police Chief Neil Dubord, as a way to connect with the public and discuss community concerns and questions about COVID-19 directly, including Delta’s response to the pandemic. Each Virtual Townhall features special guests who are experts on key issues facing the community related to the pandemic.
