SURREY RCMP announced on Tuesday that wanted man, Fabian Yul Brown, has been arrested in Winnipeg.

On February 17, 2023, an arrest warrant had been issued for 49-year-old Fabian Yul Brown. Significant efforts to locate Brown were undertaken and the warrant was extended Canada-wide after investigators learned that he might be residing in Winnipeg.

He was wanted on serious charges, including kidnapping, assault, unlawful confinement, uttering threats, break-and-enter, fraud, and possession of stolen property.

On February 7, 2024, at the request of the Surrey RCMP, the Winnipeg Police Service located and arrested Brown. He remains in custody in Winnipeg at this time and will be brought to BC to face charges.
