There were reports of a possible explosion at a construction site at King George Boulevard near 62nd Avenue this morning.

The Surrey Fire Department responded, but hasn’t confirmed any details.

Around 8 a.m., people began sending us tweets about the incident.

“The explosion was so loud and it shook my whole house!! It set off car alarms,”

“I’m at 76 and it shook my house, and made my dogs bark,” tweeted @SryGirl420.

People in the area tell us it looks like no one was hurt.
