70-year-old pedestrian killed in vehicle collision in Surrey’s Whalley

A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle in the Whalley area on Tuesday evening.

On November 3 at approximately 4:55 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision in the 12600-block of 104th Avenue. Surrey Fire Services and BC Ambulance Service also responded. Despite all attempts to revive the 70-year-old male, he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police.

Traffic in the area was affected as officers continued their investigation until about midnight.
Investigators are seeking witnesses who observed the collision to contact Surrey RCMP. Investigators are also seeking any available dash-cam video.
