Officer injured in police vehicle rollover in Langley

LANGLEY RCMP are advising the public to avoid the area of 208 Street near 74B Avenue following a single‑vehicle collision involving a police vehicle at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 5.

A police vehicle rolled over while responding to a call. The officer suffered injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. First responders are on scene and traffic in the area is significantly impacted.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes while investigators work to determine the cause of the collision. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash‑cam footage from the area around the time of the collision is asked to contact the Langley RCMP.

“The Langley RCMP would like to thank all those who assisted the officer during the incident,” said Cpl. Brett Urano, RCMP spokesperson. “We thank the public for their patience as we investigate the cause of the motor vehicle incident.”
