Langley RCMP seize drugs, firearms, cash; two individuals arrested

LANGLEY RCMP’s Special Response Team (SRT) completed a targeted drug trafficking investigation on April 1, resulting in the execution of a search warrant at a residence.

The operation was conducted with the assistance of the Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team (IERT). Two individuals were arrested in relation to the investigation; however, charges have not yet been laid.

During the search warrant execution, police seized:

  • Firearms and firearms‑related items, including a shotgun, ammunition, and prohibited components.
  • A significant quantity of illicit drugs, including opioids, stimulants, and cannabis products.
  • One stolen motorcycle
  • Over $10,000 worth of stolen athletic apparel
  • $57,240 in Canadian currency

“This investigation underscores the significant risks that drug trafficking and illegal firearms pose to our community,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “Public safety remains our top priority, and Langley RCMP will continue to take decisive action to protect the community.”
