Altercation between two persons leads to stabbing in Surrey

ON April 23, at approximately 8:07 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing in the 13700-block of 97A Avenue. Officers located a 32-year-old male suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to local area hospital in serious condition with potentially life-altering injuries.
The initial investigation has revealed that an altercation occurred between two individuals resulting in the stabbing.
Police said the investigation is in its early stages but it has been confirmed that the individuals are known to each other and there is no apparent risk to the general public.
