Body found on White Rock beach

WHITE Rock RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating a report of a found body on White Rock beach on Monday morning.  

On March 16, at approximately 10:15 a.m., a kayaker located the body of an adult male on the beach south of Vidal Street.  White Rock RCMP are attempting to confirm the identity of the man and are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Early indications are there is no risk to the public.

The BC Coroners Service is also investigating the man’s sudden death in an effort to determine how, where and when the man died. Due to the privacy of the dead, his name will not be released, police said.
