THE City of Delta on Friday announced that it will be hosting free, family-friendly outdoor watch parties for every game during the Vancouver Canucks’ highly anticipated playoff run this spring.
The community is invited to celebrate together at the Social Heart Plaza, starting with the first watch party on Sunday, April 21 at 7 p.m. for Game 1 of the Canucks’ playoff series against the Nashville Predators.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their friends and family, along with lawn chairs and blankets, to settle in for an evening of thrilling hockey action and community celebration. Whether you’re a die-hard hockey enthusiast or just looking to enjoy a dynamic community event, these watch parties are sure to provide an unforgettable experience.
“It’s been nine years since our community has had the opportunity to come together in person and cheer on the Canucks in the playoffs,” said Delta Mayor George V. Harvie. “We’re thrilled to provide this platform for residents to gather in Delta and show their support for our team. We encourage everyone to join us at Social Heart Plaza and be part of the excitement as we rally behind the Canucks during their playoff journey.”
The watch parties at Social Heart Plaza will take place during the series on these dates:
- Game 1: Sunday, April 21 at 7 p.m. (Home)
- Game 2: Tuesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. (Home)
- Game 3: Friday, April 26 at 4:30 p.m. (Away)
- Game 4: Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. (Away)
- Game 5: Tuesday, April 30 – TBD (Home)
- Game 6: Friday, May 3 – TBD (Away)
