ON Saturday, at approximately 2:15 p.m., there was a fatality at the worksite of a City of Vancouver engineering streets crew. Investigations by RCMP, WorkSafeBC and the City are underway.

The City said in a statement: “Counselling services attended the site and [are] being offered to staff. We will not be releasing information about the employee at this time out of consideration to family and colleagues.”
