The Consulate General noted that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji on January 9, 2022, had announced the celebration of ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ to pay homage to the courage of the ‘Sahibzades.’ Accordingly, the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs issued a ‘Gazette notification’ declaring December 26, 2022, as ‘Veer Baal Diwas’ to pay tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices made by the sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
