THE Consulate General of India in Vancouver announced this week that applications for all attestation services will be accepted at centers of BLS International Services Ltd. with effect from January 1, 2024.
The Consulate will not accept any applications for attestation after December 31, 2023.
Information on the procedure and fees for applications is available on the BLS website www.blsindia-canada.com/
Applications for the following services will continue to be accepted by the Consulate directly:
1. Life certificate
2. Registration of birth
3. Registration of death of an Indian national
4. NOCs for transportation of mortal remains to India
5. NRI certificates
6. NORI [No Obligation to Return to India] certificates
THE Consulate General of India in Vancouver also announced the opening of the BLS Center in Regina, Saskatchewan, with effect from January 1, 2024, for various consular services.
